Keep blowing dash/driving light fuse?? HELP!!
Okay here's the deal, I just installed a set of Q-form kick panels with Infinity Kappa 4" components...I wired them to my exsisting front components in the doors and all is good. (amp arives in a week) While I had the deck out I soldered all 8 speaker terminals individually for all 4 speakers since the guy before just twisted them together. That is all I touched of any wiring.
That is it...now I keep blowing the 10 amp fuse that contorls my dash lights/ license plate & drivers lights under the dash. I thought it might be the ghetto rigging of the front channels from 4ohm now into 2 ohm but everthing works fine, until I turn on my driving lights and POP! Stero still works, just no dash lights ect... whats up?? Any Ideas...why would the stereo work but short out my dash? would a 15amp fuse in its place do any damage?
I originally had the right front speaker wire + and - twisted toghether while I was running the wire through the dash and forgot to untwist before turn ignition on for test run. This is originally what did it I believe.
