i have a JDM b16 with the sensor in the manifold... si b16s have it in the intake tube.... so when i order the IAT from honda, which motor should i tell them, and does anyone have a part number?

 

i always order parts for mine telling them that i have a '95 del sol vtec. unless if yours is ob2 for some reason, then tell them its a '96 or '97

 

I recently got my sensor from the acura dealership.

Just order an integra temp sensor. Heres the part number i got. 37880-PE2-013 Apparently its even the same senor for an NSX

As for the connector that goes onto this sensor, the dealer does not sell it seperately you need to buy the whole wiring harness

I ended up going to a local japan auto parts place and got one of the guys to sell me the connector i needed for $5 bucks Then i spliced it into the wiring of the stock air sensor and thats it!

would finding parts for a b16a sirII apply to getting parts for a del sol v-tech. I got this motor in my car, and i have been having a hard time trying to decide on whether to get parts for a 99-00 v-tec or not. How about performance parts? do i get parts for 99-00 v-tec. What year of motor should i tell people when ordering performance parts/ oem parts?

 

do you know if your motor is obd1 or obd2? if obd1, then order for the del sol vtec 94 or 95. if obd2, then order for the del sol vtec 96 or 97, or the 99,00 SI if you really want.
