I have a 95 integra LS that my bro got into an accident with and the only visible engine damage is the power steering fluid reservoir, however when i start the car it idles at around 2 grand, then settles after about 10 minutes. car runs great except for that. no idea what it could be?????

 

it could be that you are just looking to hard it prob. already did that before its a good thing lets the car warm up and youhave higher oil press at higher rpm = your engine won't be damaged when youstart it cold. i say don't worry be happy

 

its the cold idle, they all do it.
