werid problem when trying to start car
when i turn my key to start my car nothing happends, but the cd player and lights still are working so it could not be my battary.. some time i have to turn the key about 2 or 3 times till the car starts... it does not make any nosie at all... maybe it is my starter cable that is loose? or is my starter going bad?
Is it manual or auto? Can you push start it? While in 1st or 2nd w/ the clutch depressed, have someone push the car upto a good speed, then pop the clutch. If it starts, then your starter is probably going bad.
Mine does the same exact thing, I think that it is either the Starter Soelnoid, Contacts in the starter, ICM, or maybe the Ignitor... these are just things that I have been told.
If you fix yours or figure it out tell me.
Thanks

When mine did that I just swapped out the starter and now it starts great every time. If you really dont know go to a auto parts store that does charging system and starting system tests for free. Or pay $45.00 + more jing a ling at a shop to diagnose for you.
