TL's on a crx or hatch!
Anybody do a 5 lug conversion on their crx or hatch and put on the acura 3.2 tl rims? They are 17's, I seen this 4 door ef with them. Looks sick!!! Anybody do this and please post pics.......They like hot!!!!
I hate to break it down to you, but in this forum a 5 lug conversion is done usually for ITR style suspension and/or brakes + ITR wheels. But nay will you find someone who did the 5-Lug and then killed it with 17s.

Considering:
A) The 17" TL-S wheels looked too big even on the TL-S, and
B) 17" wheels in general look gigantinormous on G4 Civics,
I would venture to say that it would probably make the car look like an overgrown roller-skate.

How do you figure?? These are 18's. They look fine to me and they don't hold the car back.

By the way, just for the record I would not put the stock TL rims on my civic if I did a 5 lug conversion. I'd get some light as rims or just get R rims. If you have the money to spend, then you can do what you want. It's your money and your car, right? I doubt anyone here will say that it's cool. Not many here want 17's on their 4th gen even with the stock 4 lug, let alone spending the money on the 5 lugs convo.

. . . but they're not the 17" 3.2 TL-S wheels

I haven't seen 17" TL Rims on an EF yet, but I have seen them on an EG a while back. It actually looked very nice. If you have a clean drop and a motor that will push these heavy rims, I would say go for it. You won't regret it.
I was just commenting cause the remark said that stock 17's looked too big on even the TL. I posted mine with 18's to show that even 18's do not look to big. It's a big car compared to our civics. I am not arguing that the stock TL rims are heavy as hell. I totally agree with that.
