Rip the old engine out and get a new one.

Im guessing that its a vacume line problem. even the slightest pen hole can make it idle up and down.

 

Not much to go on from that clip.But the main problem could be a bad Air control valve-whatever you want to call it-the one that bolts to the intake.

what else would be helpfull info?

 

hmm that sounds like a vacum leak.. check that the manifold its torqued down right.. and your vacum houses

i never took the I.M off so im sure its probally a line .

you didnt .. but they (whoever u bought the egine from) might have

 

well i had it running fine then i had to pull the motor to replace tranny so im sure its a line.
