Good to see the damage was minimal. My car just got broken into as well. Too bad those douches got away. It would have been nice to put that bat to good use.

I'm glad they didn't get your car man. Things have been heating up around here too much.

Glad to hear that you stopped the theives, but just curious what state your in. there have been a lot of posts recently about attempted/ succesful breakins and thefts of our ARRs. I'm curious what states and areas are getting hit the worst. Again good job stopping them and best of luck to all of us for the future

yeah christmas is coming so u know them thieves want some new goodies .. their lookin for da R's. if only my alarm would have gone off a second time, i would have done the same thing u did except with my brother and his golf club and we could have prevented my situation. but like you i woke up and waited about 5 minutes. didnt hear or see anything so i went back to bed. oh well, glad nothing was stolen

From the pictures, were they trying to get to your bezel?

It would have taken them forever to unlock the door going in that way. Good thing they're dumbasses.

for security dennis

d00d hit me a message back, i had some other fun and cheap security tips that'll help deter n00bs.

for starters, deactivate your power door locks... this way even if they got to the switches, they'd be SOL.

I [heart] my pager alarm.... proximity sensor, impact sensor, hood, door, and hatch pins, back up siren, backup battery... its scared away quite a few thieves.

...only thing missing is tilt sensor but I'm not too worried about people stealing my rottas...

If I owned an R, in addition to having the same alarm set up... I would probably take out the spark plugs every night, bead weld the seat brackets to the floor pan, use an autolock, and use a wheel boot, all while sitting in the garage... LOL... I'M THAT PARANOID!

Good luck with your R!

They were going for your chrome automatic door locks. You need to get the RS door handle bezels so you do not have that silver tab there anymore to unlock your doors so they wont try to pry your door open from the top to stick something with a hook at the end to pull up on your door locks. This is how they break into our cars most of the time, do a search for rs bezels or something they are a cheap but good mod i have them installed on my R. They will look and they wont see the locks there and be puzzled haha.

Look on my passenger side door there is no chrome thing to unlock my door.
