Default rubbing tires...good/bad don't matter? need opinions

i bought some group n's for winter, of course they were used, but they tires were in really good shape. now i posted about the tire size (215-50-15) and i got about half and half saying they fit and would not.

well they fit fine, they rub a tiny bit on the insides on the front, but thats only when im turning completely one way or the other.

well i didn't think about havign 2 people in the car or hitting bumps at speed.

so yesterday i drove my gf (no shes not fat ) around and i hit a bump in the road and i heard the rear rub the 1/4 panels i guess.

and then this morn. i hit another bump and i heard the front then rear rub....

now i can't really "roll" my fenders because they extend a couple MM past the outer line of the fender/ 1/4 panels...

now will this constant rubbing affect my car? will i do any damage? or should i just continue to leave them on? etc. all opinions welcomed!

It shouldn't damage anything to my knowledge, plenty of people run the Azenis in 205/50 when they have a diameter in reality of 219. Just pray for you fender wall lining that it wants to stay attached to your car.

Just wait until the fender liner shows up in your mirror on the highway, then ask us again.

If it's rubbing a little, it will work, but a whole lot is asking for it.

Don't worry about the fender liners, they are cheap.I'd worry if the rubbing is on the fender lips-that could cut into the tires, not good.

Thats a pretty wide tire to be running in that ReX, I run 205's on mine and it rubs like hell around sharp corners.

Yeah, I've got a fat girlfriend too. That happened to me. It just seemed to rub more when i had a passenger.

i was'nt able to roll mine either so i took metal snips and made cuts in the lip about every 2 inches. then i just hammered those flat against the body panel. i've not had any front rubbing.
