Default I fixed it don't come to this thread.

no speed. this is in a 95 teg. things tried: switched entire guage cluster, bought brand new 200$ VSS, checked all fueses i know of, changed out entire behind dash harness. the harness that goes from the fues box to the guages, then radio, climate con., clock. sooo my theory is tranny not spinning VSS (tranny is in bad shape pops out of third and grinds everytime), also i had a wire combust (thats why i changed out the harness) and it burned other wires which eventually corroded so if anyone knows if that wire combusting could have messed anything else up please let me know (it should have just messed up the fuse though i think). oh and the VSS is getting power.

Do you have some sort of aftermarket LSD? Some of the LSDs out there don't drive the VSS, its not too difficult to check.
