Default New Company. New Product.

IPS-K2
Maximum performance street application camshafts for the Honda K20A(2).

Intrinsic Performance Solutions, Inc. is pleased to introduce IPS-K2 camshafts for Honda K-series enthusiasts. Fully engineered and designed at the OEM level, IPS-K2 cams feature extensive and complete valve motion analysis. Additionally, IPS-K2 camshafts possess the most lift per degree within its market segment and provide superior valvetrain stability - implementing advanced pipe tuning which harnesses the ability to retain an OEM valve spring combination. The benefit is two-fold:
· Lower total cost of ownership (TCO)
· Genuine Honda factory reliability

IPS-K2 camshafts are precision manufactured to the highest quality. All lobes are micro-polished to a brilliant and functional finish. IPS-K2 cams have been developed and proven through comprehensive dyno testing on both Dynapack and Dynojet chassis dynomometers.

Specifications:

Intake - duration (lift)
· low speed lobe: 253 (9.25mm)
· high speed lobe: 302 (13.28mm)

Exhaust - duration (lift)
· low speed lobe: 246 (8.10mm)
· high speed lobe: 295 (11.84mm)

The above dynapack chart reflects the gains realized over stock with:
- IPS-K2 camshafts
- PRC intake manifold w/bored TB and Hondata IMG
- Prototype Racing CAI
- DC Race Header
- 5 Zigen catback
- Hondata K-Pro

The following dynojet charts were obtained with the same mods in both actual and sae corrected graphs.

This next graph isolates gains seen with the PRC combo vs. PRB (stock Type-S) manifolds.

Lastly, this is a dynojet chart that compares the new minimal setup vs. old setup with almost twice the number of mods:

I would like to see these cams tested on a fully tuned (k-pro) jdm K20a. I have seen several dynos of jdm k20a motors (I/H/E & kpro) laying down 220+whp on dynojet dynos & ~240+ on dynopacks.

I am curious as too how much better these cams are compared to ITR cams. With change in cams & K-pro tuning being the only factor.

looks good so far

EDIT- there is a shop on here call "IPS racing" you want to make sure not to get confused with them ( http://www.ipsracing.com )

We're not officially open for business yet as we're in the middle of paperwork with the state. The site is http://www.intrinsicperformance.com but its not ready yet.

Heard nothing but good things about this guy. I plan on buying these cams. Question for Ron though. Will you be making different stages? Will you be making any other valvetrain components?

Yes, the next application has just been completed and will begin testing next week. Valvetrain will be developed as needed. That said, we have a vacuum degassed, kobe steel spring that will be custom wound for our profiles, valve motion and harmonics for those with the need to rev into the stratosphere. We'll top those off with our in house CNC machined Ti retainers that will have proper fitment and installed height.

Thanks for the support guys!!!

-Ron
