hey guys i searched around and couldnt find answers...i have a 92 hb with a 94 ls motor. on my previous set up i had a 95 ls turbocharged with s100. at times it would throw a check engine light and the engine wouldnt want to rev over 4500. it would do the normal redline (jump up and down. i would rev to 4500 and bark and the light would shut off and it would run normal.. since i drop a new ls motor (stock) it wont let me rev over 4500. i tried revvin it that high and droppin it but it doesnt do nothing. i check everything. spark, fuel, ground, all good. oo and yeah my friend told me to take the hondata ecu out and i did but he was talking about some resistor or something like that. its suppose to connect on the harness that connectts to the ecu but i dont knoe..please help guys

 

its probably not your problem but a similar problem my friend had was that his ecu was supposely a auto, or thats what someone told him. He switced it and it reved to redline. but you been running on yours for awhile so im not sure...sorry

 

i didnt run it for a while..i just put it in the other day and i havent touched it yet. but yes it was a auto. im probably going to get help at the auto store unless i can find quick answers here

 

the car is an auto tranny? or was the ecu an auto?
