Im thinking about selling my integra for a s2k. I drove my girlfriends moms 04 s2k and I think its miles ahead of the Integra. So basically I can get a s2k as long as I can sell my car and gather about 6K (I can save about 1K a month, or get a loan so its no biggie). What would all you recomend ? I have put years of work, blood, and swaet into the Teggy and would hate to see it go. But god damn, after driving a stock s2k I fell in love. Stock vs Stock the s2k handles as good as my Integra with over $1000 in suspension mods.

 

i say yes.. get a S..... but ummm.. if you've done a lot of work on your integra... make the integra as stock as possible.. and sell the parts on ebay or in the classifieds.. and then buy the S.. you wont' regret it...

 

I was planning to sell most of the parts that I still have the oem ones to replace them. Is there any big problems with the 00 s2k ?? I am a bit weary of buying a first year car.

 

i love my s2k. id say go for it. Unless u need to drive more than one person or need cargo room. cant really get a better "pure race" car for the money. just be careful, and dont kill yourself.

currently have only 2 seats in the teg so I am used to it by now. My teg is gutted so I currently have no cargo room except what I can fit on the passenger seat and on the floor. I think im going to be dreaming of the S tonight :-) What do stock first gen s2k's run ?? low 14's, right ? Im already too excited, and I havent even listed my Integra for sale anywhere.

 

the only problems with the 00-02 s2000 was the tranny...something with the syncro's breaking or something...i'd say go for it tho...but just be ready switching ff to fr...its a huge difference in driving..and only thing u be regretting is the aftermarket parts for this ride...hella $$$ man and also too much money to get gains for keeping it NA...thats if u go jdm parts:D
