Default How hard is it to hit high 14's on a GSR?

Well in about two weeks my car will be equipped with an apex n1 cat-back, JDM 4-1 Headers, carsound high flo-cat 2.5 in. It already has an aem cai w/bypass valve (but i'm taking that out as soon as i can find something to attach my intake together with). My ultimate goal for my car is high 13's all-motor, but for now i was wondering how hard it would be for me to hit high 14's with i/h/e? I see alot of type R's posting their times but i rarely see GSR time slips. I'd be happy with a 14.9!

As long as ur a good driver...high 14s should be easily attainable.

I know of an LS Integra that is STS prepared that hits high 14s on slicks.

yeah i wanna go to carlsbad after i get my stuff installed. Does anyone know if you can still race if you're only 17? If so then all i need is to borrow someone's helmet and i'm there! Also, do people usually get fast times at carlsbad? Is it at sea level?

yeah the entrace is shitty as hell... its a dirt road.. haha but then i know people who have run good fast times there... its pretty close to sea level being in carlsbad which is really really close to the beach... and the air quality is good...

I think MrSmith hit 14.8 with intake, MAYBE header and exhaust on his GS-R after stripping some weight out. Street tires too.

Don't we also know an I/H/E and cam gear-equiped GSR that has run mid 14s on street tires?
Mr. Yellowcorn's '99 Si has also run a 14.87 with just a CAI and Greddy cat back, full interior, and street tires! Sound too good to be true? He's an excellent driver with a particularly strong motor from the factory.
(They say out of every 10 motors off the assembly line, in terms of power output, 7 are average, 2 are below average, and 1 is above)

an old member that used to be in my car club had a Gsr with only intake header ehaust, he was running 9.3 1/8th miles probly equals out to mid 14s. if anyone going carlsbad the 5th, head on over to the qualcomm stadium after, theres gonna be 1/8h mile drags from 11am to 9 or 10pm. http://www.racelegal.com more info--
