Default Dillema Dillema

Question fellas. I bought a 97 rs 5 months ago and finally am ready to start playing with it. I was planning on getting a type r lip and painting my moldings, skirts, mirrors etc at a shop. However the more i have browse the boards here the more i am thinking i should just get the 98+ front end. I mean im going to spend the money why not spend a couple hundred more and get the front? I know its ultimatly up to me but do you think the 98+ upgrade is worth the money to upgrade.

nah, save that money and keep saving till you can either do some performance mods or even a jdm front end conversion. sure the 98 spec looks more aggressive, but you gotta deal with new headlights and everythign and blah blah. so just save it for better things.

im telling you do not go rice on this site. all show and no go will not fly up here. you will get flamed so much. screw all the painting and stuff and go with i/h/e and if you already have it make mods for performance. go for the engine and not the look.

thats your own opinion. You should talk, you have a 95 ls with basic bolt ons and think cam gears are going to give you more power with stock cams.

Some people dont like to go fast, some people like to have a nice looking car, 98 conversion is cool, i like it alot, i did it to my 95, now im doing the jdm conversion, if it makes you like your car better go for it!

Ughhhh since when is paint matching your trim etc, rice? Guess every itr with painted sides is rice from the factory? Eghhh I should have known...04's :SHAKESHEAD:

I think you guys are right: You figure:

150 headlights
200 front bumper
50 bumper lights
150 itr lip
Already right there im at 550 w/o paint. Looks like just itr lip for me. 94-97 front for lizzife

just get the lip, not worth the extra money IMO for a 98+ conversion
