So Scott, What Was The ARRC ITC Race Really Like?
Well, just like this...

No ****. No exaggeration. Every single lap, all the way around the track, 20 times.
I think I was 2nd in this particular picture as Chuck Reynolds is likely in 1st barely out of frame to the left. The #36 white CRX is Will Perry. The Blue car behind me is Gareth Rebstock, and the other blue car behind the ITB VWs (which we disposed of rather quickly) is Vesa Silegren.
What an absolutely crazy race. I can't wait to do it again.

Scott, who will refer to this photo from now on when he asks himself why the hell he does this crazy crap.

I do have to say, Scott... I am loving the paintjob. BAD. ***.
Andy - who would rather focus on the fact that Scott's car LOOKS good rather than runs good because it reminds me I'm not out there.

Scott - I remember that moment. I was standing right there at the fence watching the whole race. I think me and all the OPM boys where saying "hmmm, that's not going to work." But it did, you all came out of it.
I wish I had a pic of the two times I came all the way through 5 completely sideways - drove out of it perfectly both times.

You mean this paint job...

It does look really nice (except for the slightly tweaked front bumper). And so does Bowie's.
Both done by Mark at Automarx. He does great work at very reasonable prices, so if you're around Atlanta and need a race car painted, he's your guy.
Scott, grateful to Andy for the sponsor plug opportunity.

Yep. I tried to use the ITB cars as a pick in turn 1 but Will and Gareth would have none of it. It all happened behind me, but I think poor Vesa did get bottled up behind them pretty much taking him out of the lead pack. By the time he got to the back straight all of us were drafting away from him and he was by himself.
A couple of laps of that in a close ITC race and you are DONE.

You need to paint that on the rear bumper or something.
That'd be cool.

Maybe it needs some explanation.
See Scott, that picture demonstrates what its like when a few cars are actually racing against each other. I know you're unfamiliar with this concept, so I thought I'd help you out a bit.
But hey, I don't have a Type R with $5000 dampers on it, so what the hell would I know about racing...
Scott, who is ready for the off season and isn't jonesing either... Yet.

What, exactly, off season are you referring to? I was at Savannah last weekend, and the first National race of the year is January 8-9 at Sebring.
In the SEDIV, off season lasts about 15 minutes.....

Oh, my bad.
I must be doing this all wrong. All of my parts are actually ON the car and I race against other people in my class. Damn. I wish I was a geenyus.
Scott, who hopes to someday get it right.
PS - Matt, you are actually correct. There isn't really an off season around here unless you just personally declare it. There's a race at Sebring this weekend.

Scott,
Let's stop this before it spirals out of control.
Let's calm down.....Breathe.....In......Out......There, that's better.
Now let's discuss this calmly and rationally.
First - You misspelt Genius.
Second - You're indulging your arrogance about being one of those guys who actually races again. Diversity Scott! Community! Let's be fair and play nice with all the other kids...the bling buyers....the parts stockers....the Bizarro Mechanics.
Third - Damn some of you for living where the sun....er, does shine.
Scott, who will drive indoor karts this week.....uh, will ride around the neighborhood on his Bontrager again tonite......hmmm, aw hell, who'm I kidding....I'm just gonna order some more parts again tomorrow.

You guys have no idea what an off season is....
CenDiv - First weekend of October (Mid Ohio) through the first weekend of May (Indy Race Park). Yes, that's 7 months! There actually is a race at Nelson Ledges the last weekend of October but you'd be crazy to go to that.
I'm seriously considering coming down to VIR in February/March/April just because.

Almost as bad as us. We're off from late October until early May (depending on how the schedule works out). That's 6 months
