Default EF Ballaz, Need your help!

Ok i'm stuck with a really hard desicion, my CRX project is very close to being done(see sig link). After i'm done with it i really wont have a project car... which means no fun long nights working in the cold droping in motors and such a long time ago i posted about my other car (90 Civic Std.) that i crashed into a pole (not really too serious, need a door and rocker panel). Now my hard choice, keep the shoebox and make it run properly by spending the next year builting it into a SOHC Turbo Ninjabox... or selling it to a friend/scraping it. I know most people are going to say "Dont destroy another EF!!!" but i want some serious opinions.
To make me happy the car needs:
New passanger door
New front rocker
new pass. rear quarter panel
new driver side rocker panel (back half)
New motor (built D16 Mini-Me)
Fatty T3/T4
26s (slicks dumbass )

Remember this is coming from a Jr. in HS with a buget of whatever i make doing engine swaps, building motors, etc... My CRX is going to be my AutoX/Track **** so i think if i keep it it's going to be strickly drag. To tell you the truth i really dont like drag racing, but enough of my friends do it... so i need somthing competive (plus i want to beat our Auto Tech's slow *** drag car ) Anyway tell me what you think and give to some pointers to guide me on my way
edit: pic of the "clean" side

i say keep here, fix up the body, put a simple b16/itr in it and leave it as a DD.

Seeing as you dont really drag race. It would be a nice sleeper, something to bring out and whoop *** with.

gotta give the hatch's some love too

As someone who picked up their car as a Junior and is now a college freshmen, save it. You'll regret it later when it is gone and you have nothing to play with. Oh and there is never such a thing as a finished project as you can always come up with something new. My sedan in its two year life has been on a quest to reach a stock appearance (Fixing all interior pieces, exterior etc), increase my skill as a driver in general, increase the handling capabilty, keep the old motor alive, mildly build and swap an A6, replace clutch etc..... I have never done more then one thing at a time since I like to feel what everything does so my projects will never be finished, present or future - unless I win the lotto.

I say fix it.
You said it yourself that you will miss another project, but just be aware that this time its going to be a longer project.

From a 27 year old E-3 in the military (no garage 'cause I live in the barracks) who has 2 EF's (actually we know they are ED's in North America): Keep it and fix it however YOU want to. I am jealous of you for having the place and tools to work on cars and especially at your age.
My $0.02: There are lots of CRX's out there but hatches are a dying breed so build that one up and embarass some haters on the street.

I think you should cut your losses. I know it is hard to do (example- me. 1g talon tsi, 2g talon tsi, galant vr-4) but it will be best in the long run. Put your constructive thinking and work else where.
