The only way to set a VAFC is to either dyno or street tune it. Of course Dyno is best but also expensive. Street tuning is illegal, but free unless you get caught speeding. I wouldnt set it to someone else's motor. But in my case, I tuned my friends VAFC with VTEC at 4700, and the fuel curve going up 4% at 4000, then down to 2% at 5000, and ending at 5% at 6000 till redline. It woke the motor up alot. But that is with his B20 VTEC and 12.5:1 comp. Just play with it a little, and you can feel if you are making or losing power (to a certain point).

well both ways is good...yes dyno tuning the vafc does cost a lil more than street tuning...but my tuner was telling me street tuned is a lil better than dyno tuned cuz the temperature and air fuel is always different conditions so u won;t be getting that performance u get from dyno tuning..its pretty much just #'s...i street tuned my vafc with a wideband 02 and it made my power alot more open on a modded f20c...i dyno'd car after street tuned and made 17 whp from exhaust/testpipe and vafc...very hard to get gains on a s2000 with just bolt ons but i was very happy with results

using the butt dyno IMO would not very reliable, I think you should get an A/F Meter and test and tune at the track if you dont have the $ to dyno!

Im just saving $ to dyno, Im not going to ghetto-rig it!

I'm going to start street tuning my car with a wideband o2 gauge when I get it in... for now I'm just relying on a not so accurate Autometer, and I clean/pull the plugs after a run to make sure I'm not too lean, or too rich.

my VTEC set at 4400 on my H22A. As far as VAFC fuel settings go to the dyno.
