Stopping a hairline crack in the windshield?
Hey all,
I've got a really think crack in the windshield that seems to be growing in length. I ain't got no cash for the time being, so I was thinking about drilling a tiny hole at the end of the crack to stop it from growning longer. This is just a temp fix, I would need to replace the windshield at some point. No, the insurance doesn't cover it. Good idea, bad idea?

I've heard of people doing it w/ super glue... put I believe you can buy something for that at autoparts stores or bodyshop supply stores.
stop by one of those windshield repair guys along the side of the road. i dont know if they have them in your area though. if not you can go to pep boys or autozone and buy that kit.
