Have a question for anybody thats put in new camshaft in a D16Z6. My friend put one in his delsol and everytime he brakes he looses his vaccum pressure from his brake booster. he can only hit the pedal three times and then he looses his vaccum. everything was fine before he installed the cam. has this happend to anybody ?

 

I have a Y8 with a crower cam and that hasnt happend to me,... what was taken off vaccum wise that leads you to believe that the cam swap is the cause? Follow the large vaccum line from the booster to the manifold and see if there are any cracks or frays which could be your problem.
