I have a 95 GSR motor in My 94 SI Hatch. The swap went great except I now have a Knock sensor CEL. I have replaced the sensor with 3 known good ones and it still keeps coming back after driving the car hard. I have reset the ECU propery each time. Is there something i forgot to do, did I need to add the wire to the harness? Any suggestions

No I didnt, Do I need too? I didnt even think about it. I though the sohc vtec had one so i thought it was already there

knock sensors (as far as i know) werent on any 92-95 civic.

 

That makes sense, Where can i finde a pin that goes into the ecu. The integra manual sould tell me what wire it is but how do i get that wire into the ecu harness. Thanks Alot

 

honda should be able to print you a ecu pin out diagram or search the net

 

92-95 civics didn't come with knock sensors, you have to run the wire to pin D3. If i remember correctly the wire is red with a blue stripe, not 100% sure though.

 

How do I get the wire into pin 3. Can I buy the pins that fit into the factory connector or is there another way to do it
