Civic brakes on a crx???
I have a 91 honda crx and the caliper slides are frozen. I was wondering if anyone new if the spindle setup off of a 96 civic cx would swap and what complications I would have to deal with. This is just a temporary fix to a problem and the swap would only last as long as it could. Any information would be appriciated.
I have a complete set of front brakes off an 96 EK that I changed out for an si setup. I am really going for spending as little money as possible. I am sure they will bolt up, I am just concerned about the affects they will have on the allignment, I will also add the car has been lowered about 2.5 inches.
Some one has to know something about this!

Why not put the calipers next to each other side by side and see if they look identical? If it helps, I used a 90 dx caliper on my 97 dx and to this day it works great.
The brakes have nothing at all to do with your alignment. The fact that you say it's lowered now deals with your suspension-time to spend some more money on kits.

I just used the caliper itself.
