Am sort of a newbie and am just tryin to lern new ****.
Why does the LS Vtec come out to be soo powerful when ur only putting a B16 head to a B18b block???? wouldnt it be better if u put a B18c or b18c5 head to it???

Yes, with the bigger ITR cams and better flow than the B16 head he will make more power than with a B16 head. Out of all the heads the B16 will make the least power because it has the smallest cams. The GSR is second to the ITR, it has a smaller combustion chamber for a bit more compression as well as more agressive cams than the B16.

Exactly. Most people that do ls/vtec (well at least those who do it RIGHT ) also do many upgrades to their engine (meaning head AND block) as well... For instance, people will swap out pistons/rods for ones more serving to their purpose, or machine the head for better flow, etc... all at the same time.
