I have a 92 Prelude with a 2.3L.Last week the car quit running.I put a used distributor.It was supposed to be good.But I still get no spark.Can anybody tell me what wires going into the dist. or coil to check to make sure it is the distributor? I am trying not to loose my *** in replacing parts.Any help would be great.Thanks.

 

Nope.If you spin it over, it gets to a point and it almost sounds like it is going to start but it doesn't.I also hear a relay or solenoid clicking under the driver's side dash.
I will have to see if there is play in the distributor when I get home cause I am at work right now.But thanks for the help thus far.

 

Could be a problem with the ignitor. I have had this problem before in my Civic as well as my Prelude.

use only japanese ignitor. it's worth it. i had the same problem...
