Default wiring

i got a dohc zc. i just had a valve job done replaced all the standard gaskets and seals as well as pilot bearing water pump thermostat and timing belt, the thing is i have one 3 pin female conector bout 3/4inch in size but can not find the other end of the connector. the connector is with the cam position sensor harness. all cam and distibutor wires are accounted for and connected. is it possible that this connector could be for the non functioning shift lite?

What shape is it? Have you tried to start the car? If it starts, all you need to do is check the ECU for a code and then you will know if you cant find out before hand.

Is it near the dizzy, at the end closer to the rad, or closer to the firewall, all this would help alot.

the car is a no start. rectangle shape, its between dist. and cps right in the area or the temp switch in the block.
