Default why is a 90-91 b18a 130hp and a 92-93 b18a 140hp

can the teg people help me out with info? i was told(and i've seen on ht) that the hp difference comes from the cams??.......when my friend keeps sayin it's ecu, intake mani, and head design. so let's start with the feed back.

I thought it was in emissions? ECU differences... obd0 and obd1.

Its not just the cams. Ports on the head for 92+ is much better than 90-91. Cams are different and IM is different. It floes much better.

so the only thing that holds you back from a very easy few HP is head porting...

even the OBD0 to OBD1 swap isn't hard if you wanted to do it... hardest part i think is wiring the 4 wire O2 sensor
