Default ZC question

whta is the engine code for a DOHC ZC motor. Ive been looking for this and cant find it. Im going to a junkyard that has specuials for any motor for 70$ like once every 3 months and i want a DOHC ZC to build and turbo over the summer. Dont get excited they dont have high end motors like GSR or B16. D series is common and some ls's with like 100000937089165 miles. But i was wondering if you guys could tell me some info and help me out one building this ZC or if i should go to a different motor for turboing. I wanna go as cheap as possible while maintaining quality. Also do u guys think i could trade a running 89 DX STock rusty CRx in the spring for a SI shell with everything but motor and tranny?

Engine code for a ZC is ZC...A real ZC bolt in
Dont get it confused with the 87-89 1.6 dohc integra motor ..it's not the same..This motor will not bolt in..
I doubt you'll find a zc at a junkyard unless someone swaped it in 1st..
Hmotorsonline.com sells them for $500......

I know a junkyard in NJ with a wrecked crx that has a dohc zc in it..
Kid swapped in the motor and wrecked it...Its white and in the back..
THe Junkyard also has a JDM crx SIR..original b16,,it also has a rollcage and some extras..guy want $5000..

yeah, the engine code for a ZC is...."ZC". You'll see "ZC" stamped on the block if it's a ZC motor. I wouldn't go to a junkyard looking for a JDM motor though...that's kinda...well, dumb (unless you know a kickass junkyard that usually has ZC motors laying around in cars for you to pull out).

As far a turbo setup on a motor...you want cheap? Maybe forced induction isn't for you. If you didn't know the engine code for a ZC motor, then i doubt you have what it takes to turbo a Honda and get it done right...no offense or anything.

...I could just picture somebody not having a good grasp on automotive technology, attempting not only to turbo a vehicle, but ALSO attempting to turbo a vehicle being as cheap as possible....lol.

Correction:

JDM- ZC Anything from a carbed 1.6 DOHC to a FI 1.6 DOHC to a VTEC 1.6 SOHC all stamped with ZC jst depending on the year and model car they're in.

USDM- D16a1 from the 86-89 Integra

EDM- D16a8/a9 same as the JDM 1.6 DOHC
