Default i have a question about purchasing

i found a type r for salethat im thinkin of purchasing it has a b20 block in. i was wondering if it would be a bad investment. j/w wondering b/c i dont know much about internals myself-thanx

Personally I wouldn't buy an ITR w/o a B18C5. Well maybe if it was a salvage title or something and I wasn't paying a lot.

im not payin that much ...12,500...he said that the head studs were striped on the c5 block and aguy that works with him at the honda dealership sold him the block and the dealership put it in ?

Sounds like BS to me...

A stock B20 or a built B20? A B20 isn't going to last past the stock redline (~6500 I think?) ITR head makes most of it's power +5500, so if it's stock, do you want to pay 12,500 for a car "built" slower than it was from the factory?
