there arent a whole lot of them on the market, if any at all from what I've heard . . . so good luck. You'd have better luck on GT42Rs or 35Rs.

we got 6 of them after being on backorder for about 1 1/2 years, 6 showed up. we sold them all in about a week. we dont expect to see any for 8 months or so.

There is one up here in Canada. It belongs to Chris Tapp of Tapp Auto. He has had this turbo for a while now, since about mid summer, on his Talon.

Turbo is HUGE, and his talon runs 10's on street tires with the GT40R, very sweet!

tapp's talon looks sick. nice work on that car, id love to see the engine bay.

i will have data on an 84mm ls vtec with ported head etc in about 2 weeks

I have one comming Via: Full-Race.. i just got my manifold today from them (its amazing).. from what i understand from this thing, it loves high rpms and has a peaky powerband.. but unlike a bushing t4 its BB and the BB helps spool times somewhat near 1000rpms less or more compared to a bushing t4.. I am going to run it on a stock motor for a while, then push it next summer after a build from Benson.. My guess is that it will be somewhat laggy, but the lag can be a good thing if you want to go in striaght line.. with a linear tune i am hoping to get some even power transitions up top and just have the motor rev its *** off.. of course Geoff and Todd insist on building the head up so you can take it safely to at least 9k (gsr) and i think this is a prime feature to unlock the 40r's potential.. soo basically, its gonna lag but not really how most people think b/c its a huge t4 turbo.. it has BB's and with a smaller A/R on the hot side you can have even faster spool.. it all depends, but it is gonna make me some sick power i know that.. thing that sucks is there isnt many people running this turbo, so real-world power is not really aplicable for our hondas.. i only know of that Talon running it, and it makes crazy power 707whp and 500 sumthing tq. (i believe its FWD too) and goes low 10's..

Now all i need is some huge 225 street tires and Moton's for ultimate suspension tunning lol

geoff did you every get the data from running the GT40R on that 84 mm ls/vtec??? I'm trying to find out when the GT40R will hit full boost on a 85mm gsr with 92mm stroke?

It's AWD. It just dynos in FWD mode.

There seems to be some confusion w/ the GT40R's right now. Some of the GT40R's i've seen have a 7 blade compressor wheel and others have a 6 blade compressor wheel. still not sure what is going on.

the 6 bladed wheel is a 67 wheel. the 7 bladed wheel is a 40r.

according to the picture on this page http://www.atpturbo.com/Mercha...e=GRT where atp is selling their "gt40r" it has a 67 compressor according to the above info by geoff, which makes it not a gt40r at all....
