What oil filter do you guys use???

Default What oil filter do you guys use???
In a week or so, it'll be time for me to change my oil. Up to now, I've been taking it to the dealer and letting them do it but this time I'm doing it myself and switching to Mobil 1 syn. I've done several searches on 'oil change' and 'oil filter' but non of the posts covered WHICH filter is better (if any). I was gonna get a puralator Pure One but wanted to see which filter you guys use when you change your oil.

BTW... how much is the crush washer cost from the dealer and does the OEM Honda oil filter come with one?

i get the oem oil filter... yes they do come w/ washers... oh yea, and mobil 1=

I've always used the oem but the last time I put a Hamp on. Seems that all these jdm freaks really recomend it.

OEM honda if I feel like going to the dealership, otherwise, whatever the closest auto parts store sells.

Fram cost $3. I went to dealer the other day. Charged me dam near 8bucks for an oem filter. Screw that only lasts less than 3k miles anyway. Buy a fram get your change and go to wendy's.

K&N oil filters (that 1" nut at the end makes changes a cinch) and Mobil 1 full synth

OEM, my dealer sells them for 6.25 or buy 4 get one free (which works out to $5/each) not too bad for a dealer price

You HAMP Lovers should see the New ones I have - Smaller filter for racing that keeps oil pressure higher.

Bosch, it's the same as the Mobil 1 but considerably less expensive. Or I use the Purolator.

Fram makes some of the OEM filters.
