he asked for the part number for the LARGE filter....
which is no longer produced for the accords (15400-PR3-315) also the POH units...
honda has switched pretty much everything over to the smaller crappier 15400-plm-a02 but if you want a good filter that is oem and is "large" go for the 15400-pcx-004 (s2000 filter) ... that is what i use on my accord.

Is that a Honda filter? I have the (expensive) extended warranty and don't want to be accused of using a non-approved filter if anything goes wrong.

What is "plm and pcx" ??
I used the little Frams for at least 7 years, 100,000 miles on our old '88 Accord; I do not like the baby filters, prefer the old large ones (Per 17s, eg) long before 25,000,000 Civics and 10,000,000 Accords.
But the Fram tiny ones give no trouble at all..
And I cannot see the economic sense in paying dealer prices for oil filters or anything for that matter. The oil filters for my Mercedes were made in Pakistan !!

if you know anything about honda's oil filters you would know that the "pcx" that i refer to is the 15400-pcx-004 filter part number (s2000 filter) and the plm i refer to is the 15400-plm-a02 filter part number (common honda oil filter (most applications default) (Fram,honeywell) )
fram = garbage
cut one open and see the cardboard endcaps and plastic bypass valve.....yuck
cut open a pcx-004 or similar quality filter (K&N, Purolator PUR One, Bosch, Mobil 1) and take note of the metal endcaps and silicon anti-drainback valve..... also note the filter media, pleats, and uniformity.
you will see the difference in quality.....
its called "peace of mind"
