Does the car stop on its own? Sounds like the pad is contacting the rotor constantly.

its definitely sticking...at first i thought the ebrake was sticking but thats not it. it feels like the pads are constantly rubbing. i put in new rotors as well but didnt do anything out of the ordinary.

Are you 100% sure it is the right pad?

You should put the joint out when your doing your brakes

I think you are using them a bit too hard, lighten up a bit.

what do you guys think about this as a possible problem...

the fluid was low while the old rotors and pads were on there. i added fluid recently before changing to the new pads and rotors. you think i could have too much brake fluid in there (brake pressure?) and its not allowing the calipers to open fully?

This happened to my GSR awhile back. One of the rears started to stick. It was a slider pin thingy...removed, relubed, reinstalled...

checked the fluid, it was ready to pour out of the reservior. took out some, went for another drive. seemed to feel a bit better, so i beat on the brakes pretty good. i could still smell it burning inside the car. got back to my house, sure enough the brakes were smoking, and rotors were glowing lol. nascar style baby

use SILICONE grease. i can't stress this enough. standard wheelbearing grease will make the pins/shims stick. 3m makes the best stuff, but any silicone grease will do. also, put it on/behind the brake pad clips. this will give the pads a smooth ride.
