Anybody using a Black Widow BWN-500P 2 way paging Alarm in their TYPE R ??
I just got a Black Widow BWN-500P 2 way paging Alarm installed by Best Buy. Every three days or so I need to jump start the car because the battery dies. I removed the fuse from the alarm and left the car alone for a week to find out if the alarm was instead the problem. It was indeed. My worries is that the stock ITR battery just does not have the capacity to support this 2 way alarm if let alone for 3 days.
My question is... Does anybody else have this alarm system ?? Are you using the stock ITR battery ?? Do I need to upgrade ?? or are there other reasons/ problems why the car battery dies every 3 days ??

I swear someone else had the EXACT same problem in the EG forum and their alarm was also insatlled at Best Buy.
Just take it back there and explain to them what the problem is. I'm sure ur car was'nt doing this till you took it there for the alarm.
Your question has been answered already in some of the other threads you started IE: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1059887
If your battery did not die before you took it to Best Buy, then they fugged up the install or the battery and are responsible.
TAKE IT BACK TO BEST BUY!
The R battery isn't any weaker than a regular Integra battery. You may have other related issues like a stereo that draws mucho power but if you didn't have any problems before you had the hacks at Best Buy do the work then the ball is in their court.
TAKE IT BACK TO BEST BUY AND DEMAND THEY REMEDY THE SITUATION.
You paid for it, they should fix it so it works correctly.
