Default JDM D15B Motorswap Pics

<FONT COLOR="blue">Just wanted to share the pics from the D15B swap me and my homie did in his EH3

1st and foremost U need the bare essentials= BEER & CARL'S

Blown D16Z6 ready to come out

Check out the major difference between '93 z6 and newer 15b

We decided to go sleeper and rock the stock VC

It was funny, we tried starting it like 3-4 times and no luck,we were surprised and pissed off. Then my intelligent friend was like ohh yea I have a kill switch! I was like u mother foocker! We did his lil kill switch trick and vvvvrrroooommm started right up. (Notice the pile of dirt spit out by the muffler, since my homie wasnt there when the car was getting dropped off at our garage, the careless tow truck driver thought it wouldnt matter if he wasnt careful unloading the car )

A pic of our garage

Sorry for the amatuer blurry pics and thanks for lookin </FONT>

Carl's Jr. came first. Theyre both owned by CKE Restaurants. Carl's Jr. originated in the early 40s i believe.

Did you check the cel code? Mine did the same thing when I got on it hard, anytime I I put major load on it for that matter. Get a cel code of primary o2 sensor. But, it's the same one that I took off of my hrdrolocked d15b.

I am in the process of hooking up my d15b. The car is a 92 cx. did you run into anything when swapping it??? 'cause i can't get it to start. I know i need to get a new dizzy now 'cause the brand new one i bought snapped the cog/teeth off while trying to start it. So it'll be later until i can work on it. (cant get the new dizzy until tomorrow)

Since the car is an EH3 Si everything swapped over easy and plug and play except the O2 sensor.

Good job with the swap. How does the motor perform compared to your z6?

haha, dang thats sweet. i used to hate dseries but im thinking of selling my EK with an H22 in it and buying something else and messing around with dseries stuff.

i love the swapping experience and it sounds like you guys had a good time too. nice work on the whole kill switch thing haha, it always seems like something stupid though when it doesnt start. when i swapped my buddies ITR engine in, i plugged to wires in wrong and it took us forever to notice it. lol

thats a really low price. was that just for the long block? or did that include the transmission too? the quote below did say swap, but not what level of swap.
