I have been wondering about 5 lug converion. i don't really care about changing the brakes. i am not going to be autocrossing or n e thing like that. i just want 5 lug so i can put some rsx rims on my teg or maybe some gm itr rims. i just want to know if it is possible to get 5 lug without upgrading the brakes and all?

 

well you might be able to use the stock caliper but but you're going to have to use a caliper relocating plate because for example, ITR brakes have bigger disc's then an ls would. so you might have to not do a brake upgrade, but just have to use an itr brake setup. which is kinda of an upgrade, but still stock.

 

I'm only aware of the itr 5 lug as a swap, which comes with bigger brakes. But going 5 lug limits some of your wheel options later on.

 

thanks for the replies. Has n e one every done this or do most ppl upgrade their brakes too. i think its too much money for the whole entire 5 lug conversion. all i care for is some 5 lug rims.

 

its not really worth it if you're just doing it for looks.. usually people do it for performance reasons. go to team-integra.net and im sure they have a write up on this and the costs that you'll have to go up aginst. then you can search here or go to passwordjdm.com or jdmshit.com to get you some parts for the 5lug conversion from an ITR
