Default 94 distributor to 90 ecu

wondering if is their any way that i can convert a 94 d16z6 distributor to work with the stock 90 ecu. just droped in a 94 soch vtech but the distributor is messed up on the stock 90 distributor, wanted to put the original 94 distributor on its soch vtech and wire it to the old plugs of the 90s ecu. tried it some what but it putters and then turns off. the 90 distributor has 5 wires while the 94 has 7 wires. can anyone find out if i can rewire the new distributor to the old ecu somehow?

i think your still running the dpfi setup, swap to mpfi. DX right?is so then you will have to convert and get a new ecu, i recommend the p28 obd1 ecu. its great.
