mpfi swap -- diagram?
hey i was wondering if anyone had a wiring diagram for my mpfi swap -- 88-91 DX converted to Si.. i just need some help with the plugs, i have a brown one (i dont know where it goes), and green one (which im pretty sure is EAVC), and a white one that is hanging off something on the back right side of the manifold... andd maybe another white one
help!!
help!!
The matching weird green and brwn ones are the inj. The green is the eacv, and the white is the iat. This is for the grouping on the intake mani.

ya but there is one that isnt coming off the harness, its coming off some other thing that is directly to the right on the back of the manifold, its a white plug.. dont need it?

see the thing on the far right of the intake manifold , to the right of the EACV, there is a wire hanging off the bottom of it with a plug, where is this supposted to go?
EDIT: go here

The circled sensor is just left unpluged.
You will have an extra plug in the dx harness (tandem valve). Its the one with a orange wire, and a black wire.

If im not wrong, the circled picture is the warm up solenoid. I guess some intake manifolds came with the feature of warming the intake manifold up during cold winters. I have two manifolds, one with it and one without (both onsale btw =P)

I thought that was my only problem, guess not.
Got dammit!

Ok, i taped off the orange/black wire, now all thats left for the EACV is a two yellow wires, and one has a black line on it, is this correct?
K all the general wiring is done, now im waiting for my injector harness deal to come in the mail, then the ecu.. thanks for the help -- ill probably be posting more
this may be a stupid question, but could you do this with a y8 manifold and a PM7 ecu?
i just got one (the manifold, still bidding on the ecu) for a future mini me swap, and if i could do the mpfi conversion first, i want to...i could just aquire the rest of the needed parts....maybe?
...i'm new to all this honda stuff, sorry if this seems ultra stupid to ask.

Yo i'm about to wire the distributer up for crank angle, but i dont have the plug off the SI wireharness, but i do have the plug off the old distributer... anyone have any advice on using the old plug from the dx harness and cutting the si plug off the distributer and rewiring it?
thanks
thanks
You can use any connector, it makes no difference. Just repin the wires. As long as the proper wires are in the proper locations its all good.

Swaps going good, alot of useful people on this forum. Tomarrow im repinning the distributer, installing my injector plugs w/ all the wiring predone (me sitting on my *** at home), still gotta find a ecu somewheres though
no i ordered the injector plugs from bustah49 and did all the wiring my self, now today im installing all of it, and repining the distributer. and im still lookin for a pm6 for a good deal.
when you get it all done and wired up, put a post up to say if it is really worth it or not. cuz i was thinking about doing this. but i wasn't sure if it was worth it.... i think i might just skip this step and go straight for the motor swap.
