Default Difference between ITR exhaust vs GSR exhaust?

What are ALL the differences between the two exhausts? Looks wise and performance wise. Just wanting to know if it would be a good upgrade to my car. Thx

one difference is the mufflers baffles are different. more free flowing in the R design...30% more free flowing from what the factory states.

downpipe is different, cat is the LS one(USDM anyway)....midpipe is shorter...
has two resonators....

muffler is diff as Rguy pointed out.....

piping diameter is larger to provide the supposed 30% increase in flow.....

The GS-R's tip should be "bolt on" while the Type-R tip is welded on....
as well I BELIEVE the muffler can on the Type-R is bigger.... and the piping on the muffler is mandrel bent not the crush tubes of the GS-R.....

Goto these links to find out more but, Raging Angel kinda told you everything else you needed to know.

It supposedly flows 30% better too!

Good luck,

A.

PS Great link Willard, Thanks just added it to my list.
