Default 91 Integra (DA) converting to ITR suspension (pls read)

Hey,

So my buddy wants to slap on ITR aftermarket suspension on his 91 Integra. Now, I know we need EG/DC front forks and ITR rear lower control arms.

Now, how can you tell what EG/DC front forks look like compared to other forks???

Is there a clear way of telling the difference from one another? I need to know cause I gotta go to the junkyard and help him find this stuff.

Thanks

Just take an EG/DC shock with you, and test fit it onto the forks. The DA and DC/EG forks should look approximately the same, except the hole for the shock on the DA ones is too narrow for a DC/EG shock to fit in.

I can post any stampings they have tomorrow, I have a set at home and I am not sure what they have printed on them.

Taken from Ben Ogle's website:

"The only difference between the EF/DA forks and the EG/DC forks is that the EG/DC forks have an inside diameter .15" larger than the EF/DA forks. This is because the EG/DC shocks are fatter than their EF counterparts."

That's good, i'm swapping JDM ITR suspension in my car soon, just waiting for the parts in the mail. Boy i can't wait to get off these damn sleeve coil-overs. Then to buy real ITR coil-overs, looking at RE's...
