Default Please help me figure out what this frickin seal does?

These four components came with a Fel-Pro valve cover gasket kit. I know what three of the four do, but where does the one with the question mark go? Im trying to resolve a problem Im having with my spark plugs getting oil on them. THANKS

You don't need it...just chuck it. I forget what they are for exactly. Check the box they came in. I just replaced all mine this past weekend with a Fel-Pro set and it said ont he back of the box what all it included. I have replaced this set on 3 different 5th gens, and they have never been used. I think the set fits a broader range of Accords and isn't used in all of them.

hmmm, that sucks. It sucks only because I am getting a little oil on the plugs, and I havent replaced any seals that seem like they would prevent that from happening anymore. All that I have replaced have been up above the plugs them selves. I have a '91.

wait, hold the boat... I think youre right, because the oild thats been getting on the plugs must be coming from UP ABOVE. (where the valve cover seals to the top of the spark plug tube). Those seals I have replaced. Thanks....

They are the "O" rings for the Camrocker assy..When you remove the rockers to get the cam out, there are "O" rings around the sparkplug holes. So in reality, there are 2 "O" rings for the sparkplugs.
