like the title says what does it take to put a d16z6 into a 94 cx hatch? i have wiring for both engines, ecu, etc

Wire vtec solenoid, and oil pressure, P28 ecu, and remove old motor and put new one in... thats it................ yep... thats it....

 

i dont know alot about eg's because ive always owned ef's so yeah, may sound like im a n00b, i have the p28, dont eg's come wired for vtec? or was i reading wrong?

not cx's...u need an ex wire harness in there

 

i think only 92's came pre-wired for VTEC

 

ok so if i get the si/z6 engine harness will everything plug and play? or is there extra wiring at the ecu that needs to be done?
