describe what you are feeling more??? how dose it shake? is it really violent? Then it is probably Tire Hop. and I can't remember which way it goes but when I get on the power my teg thend to tourqe stear.

Basically I think because of the B20 you are making way more torque than your current suspension setup can handle...

but thats just a guess

IT ONLY SHAKES WHEN I ACCELERATE. THE WEIRD THING IS THAT IT WILL PULL TO THE LEFT, ITS BEEN A YEAR OR SO SINCE I GOT BUSTED IN SAN DIEGO BY DRAGNET WITH MY B16 POWERED DA TEG, BUT I COULD HAVE SWORN TORQUE STEER IS TO THE RIGHT. I WILL CHECK THE MOTOR MOUNTS.

Thanks for the advise, I called the owner at import solutions in phoenix(who i should have called before i bought it) and said the car was probably totaled. He said to look for triangular marks on the front rails. Im going home tonight to check. The car shook when i bought it, but the front tire was f@#ked on the right side, so my dumb *** thought thats what it was. You guys know how it is when you want something bad, you make bad decisions.

Sounds like engine mount to me too. Try this: does it shake if you leave it in neutral and step on gas?

also check suspension parts, such as the lower and upper balljoints, check tie rod ends and look for fram damage from underneath the car as well

Thanks for the advise. I checked the frame and there are smalll triangular notches pushed in the frame. Guess I should have looked closer. Is there anything i can do to fix this problem?

ya... take it to a good body shop with frame pulling equipment. they might be able to help you out.

also make sure you dont have any bent/bad axles. they tend to cause vibration on acceleration too if they are bad.

That was the next step i was going to take. I pulled the wiring loom from the vtec solinoid back, and whoever wired the vtec for the kid i bought it from used speaker wire. lol I have to go through the whole car. And remember kiddies, no matter how much you think you know about hondas, take a friend or take the car to your mechanic to be checked out. It will save you alot of hassle later.
