blown engine...
guys,
i want to buy 2001 shape accord. Now the problem is (as with everyne else) i would be in a very tight budget. So i am curious if there is any certian place i can find cars with seized engine. The reason i ask is i would swap h22a in whatever car i buy!!
Questions:
Is this a good idea? (what are the cons?)
Is it a possible idea? (what is the probability of finding this dream car?)
Lastly what kind of place am i looking for?

dont get a 6th gen...there just too heavy, and even with an H swap (which is a bit more work into a 6th gen, if im not mistaken), they still are "slow"......the problem with looking for one with a siezed engine or something else like that is the fact that its a honda....and usually when a honda engine siezes up, theres probably mroe to worry about.......if you seriously are willing to do a lot of work, then find a junker accord that rear ended someone, and buy an SiR front clip from japan...thorw that piece of **** on, and there ya go, an almost genuine LHD SiR 5th gen....
thanx fw190bvi, this really helps.. i hadn't heard that 6th gens are slow.. its just that i love the shape!!! i started collge when they rolled it out and i never had the money while in school to lown one let alone buy a car! i am finishing up hopefully very soon and seems like i might have a job lined up! so the dream for now is to pay off my loans as soon as possible and then buy a car!
for now i think i'll just buy a 6th gen manual and work on looks only!
