Default V6 Transmission

Hello,

Just a question, I got a 00 Accord V6, is it only me or are the V6 auto transmissions a little rougher than other cars when they shift. I got a couple of friends with the same car, and they have the same roughness.

Accords have been known to have terrible transmission problems and people having to get them replaced. It could just be that it seems rough to you, or yours could be going out.

I'm gonna have to agree with you, 4cyl transmissions rarely have problems. Now I have to worry about spending money fixing this thing.

wont a 5 or 6 speed from a 3.2TL work if it does blow? just an observation but theres a post earlier about swapping the 5 speed from the legend into a 5th gen, so i think maybe the TL's mnual would work. not sure tho havent done any research on it

CLS 6spd will work but needs some major wiring. 98+ Accord V6 trannies are bad and will go bad. The 98-99 are the stronger ones but they still do go out. 00-02 is just **** outa luck thats why Honda offers the 100k warranty for you guys.
