You're right. But to help you out anyways it all depends actually. Are you on a plan on your own, with your parents, multiple policies, different discounts, where you live, your driving record? They all effect your insurance premium. Just for comparison I'm on my parents plan with 2 other cars, have good driver discount, multiple policy discount, and some others. I pay about 110 a month for my base. My friend has a base also and lived right by me. He originally was paying about 120 a month. He moved north up into Long Beach and that alone raised his rate by 80 bucks a month

where you live is a big factor

ive got a friend in oklahoma paying around $15 a month for his crx. i live down here in texas and i pay around $150 a month for my crx (minimum coverage). texas is rediculous. We also have multiple car/good driver discounts. Your age is a big factor too, for example..my mom pays around $90-100 a month for her 2003 Accord for full coverage and i pay $150 for the crx liability

i 2nd that. my dad owns a convertible mustang, and because it's a "muscle car" (according to insurance agent) insurance is insane. they make my dad pay for full coverage for 4 people, including two teenagers.

EDIT: haha damn thats OT my bad

Im 19 in TX with a type s and im pretty sure mine is like $200, thats with a perfect drivin record but my **** already went up once when my car was parked and got hit and ran on. That 200 cud be a little off but i know for sure that is was only like a $24 differnce between the base model and type s...which is ****** stupid, its cuz its an acura and my insurance thinks they are all like race cars or sumthin.
