for those who have arp rod bolts or know about them, i have a question.

Im gonna be build n my LS motor in january. is there a difference in the rod bolts for a LS rod, GSR rod or B16 rod? this is the rod bolt im gonna get ARP 208-6401. is it the correct one?

 

I think the ls oem rods use a 8mm and the gsr uses a 9mm.....

No point to this post.....but I was looking at the above link:

My ARP rod bolts certainly didn't look like these. Is this a generic ARP bolt picture? Or are these supposed to be their rod bolts?



I believe mine was a more dark silver bolt with a 12pt head.

 

The 208-6401's are GS-R/ITR 9mm rod bolts. For some reason they updated the 6401's to the silver finish and increased the price by almost 100%.

You need 208-6001.

 

whatever you do dont get them from jegs. they ripped me off. first they sent the wrong ones and then even after four calls they never refunded the money. Bull ****!
