A pretty good thread for people to learn fundamentals of engine tuning and how things affect reliability and the power you make ... the all motor people should read that just the same ...

How's timing from itb's diffrent from a regualr manifold setup? Also how did all you guys learn to tune just trial and error?

WOT timing advance is hardly reflected by runner length of a manfold vs ITBs ... if you mean to get the car to idle, then thats more to do witht he amount of vaccum you're creating at idle with ITBs vs a manifold in contrast to the ign timing map.
tuning is more trial and less error, so you start off on the rich side and with low timing advance and gradually increase ... don;t do both, do fuel first and get it to your target ratio then play with timing after. Sounds easier said than done I guess, but thats the idea ...
