Default O2 Sensor and Fresh Air

My header broke clean at the flange before the cat(rust). I got a header to replace it. My O2 sensor ( the secondary o2 sensor?) is in my cat. I removed the flange and am waiting for the next non-rainy day to do the header swap. Ive had to drive the car with the open pipe. How has this affected the operation of the motor? Just curious. Thanks

if it was the primary O2 sensor then i would say it would affect the motor. the secondary )2 sensor just keeps a check on the primary O2 sensor. did it trip a CEL?

No it did not trip a CEL. I dont know what is the primary and secondary O2 sensor. Whichever one is in my catalytic converter is the one getting all the fresh air. I was just
curious if this effects how the engine manages fuel. Ive had to run it like that for a couple of weeks. Yes Im a noob on the subject of engines and cars in general but Im not an ******* or a troll. It boggles my mind why you posted in my thread at all.
