Default best swap for DA6

Okay guys I have a 92 Integra LS. I actually wanna swap my motor for a Vtec motor. My friends toll me that a b16 motor would fit perfect and it would be the easier to install on a old school integra. I figure that a b16 would fit perfect because the old school integra use to bring b16s. I was talking to my mechanic about doing a H22 swap and he thought about it. He did some search and he toll me that is worth it because of the starting power point. But its not worth it cause of the money to work rachio. So guys what swap should be easier and best for my DA6!

GSR or LS/VTEC (but if you're going to do it, do it right) B16A is a great motor in EG's and EF's, but you need more torque to lug around that 2500lb car. . .

Yes, I know I was thinking about the lil 1.6lt dragging a old school integra. But I don't know about the GSR I'm not too fanatic about that motor

an H22a can be swapped in to the G2 Integra engine bay.... there has to be a lot of work done to it though... if money isn't the issue... but I think you should stay with the LS motor and play with it a little bit.... try a b16a cable trans or a GSR trans... and do what ever you can to get air in and out of the car as best as possible... other than that a b16a is a good swap for the car... cheap and it's direct bolt on also.

Me I have a G2 also and I love it.... I'm still running my stock b18a1 motor... and I'm looking forward to getting a newer b18b motor and swapping in a s1 short geared transmission... I prefer torque rather than hp in a honda... cuz that's what the honda motor lack most... well yea that's my 2cents for ya!

Yeah a b18c or c5 is a nice choice and been done several times... pretty straight forward. So is the b16... so if money is no object go with a touch more displacement.

I swapped a B16a1 into my 91 rs and all the wiring hooked right up(my homie hooked up the vtec). Is there a difference in the 91 to 92 wiring???

Yu can put an h22 but they have no kit so more on the custom work side. Not just a bolt on. If you want an easy swap? ls/vtec since you already have an ls! Put a type r head and your good.and than go from there...

90-91 and 92-93 are different. 90-91 is OBD0 and 92-93 is OBD1, so depending on what generation B16A you get will determine how hard the wiring is (which isnt really that hard).

Im dropping a B16 in my DA soon. A B16 with a short geared JDM tranny will be fine, but of course a GSR or Type R motor will feel nicer. Ive driven DA's with B16's before and they feel fine with a short geared tranny. I DO NOT suggest using the stock LS tranny with a B16 though, youll have no accelleration
