i have a y1 in my garage right now, but i dont know if the gears are going to be to low with my turbo setup. ys1 gears might be to high? can some one help me out. i will be running a quaife LSD.
setup:
Fully built b16a (golden eagle)
Super T70 turbo (T4 turbine .68/p-trim - .70 compressor/super t70 trim)

None of the above. The cable trans do not take well to power. By the looks of things (T70) you will be putting power to it. If at all possible I recommend a hydro trans. I put 648whp through mine on the dyno just fine but after 3 passes at the track at 400whp it hardly shifts when the car is running. Another guy I know had the exact same problem with his cable trans. On another note I know of a few that have had great success. Good luck with whatever you choose.

buddy of mine has a similar set up on a b18 and runs a ys1 that he likes alot
