sounds like you know very little about this swap. id suggest you search and do some research before you get into it. this swap is not like your ordinary swap, and itll cost a good bit.

yeah, its no walk through the park man. i believe the website is http://www.k20a.org which has ALOT of good info. the threads dont move nearly as quick as H-T so it's alot easier to sort through.

call up hasport, cuz i know they got the mounts. as for the rest of the questions, im unsure of. definately be awware that theres lots of costs beyond just the engine itself to get it running, so plan for a broken bank unless youre a baller

eh, I still stand firm

no GSR is going to beat up on any swapped civic that has almost 200ft/lb TQ

sorry, but that is not happening.....unless his car is very very stout and has extremely short gears

The 210-hp K-motor from 2005 Type-S only has 143 ft-lbs.

prep work https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=871847

how to https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=985794

some useful info in here (see my post ) https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1057810

harness - go with hasport or Hybrid racing
axles - go with DSS (both Hasport & Hybrid Racing) or ProFab
mounts - go with hasport or hybrid-racing
headers go for DTR, RCrew, Hytech or Hasport, mod'd (after mkt) tsx
don't forget about the ECU - you will need to remove the immobilizer (most likely) K-pro is definitely the way to go if you are going to tune your car

K20a2 & k20a swap civics are laying down 155 lb/ft to 165 lb/ft or tq @ AT THE WHEELS...not too mention 220+ whp...Hotwheelz laid down 215whp & (a flat table of) 181 lb/ft tq (dynojet) with a k24a2 (TSX) powered RSX

you think your (sheepeg3) GSR could beat this k-powered eg http://www.we-todd-did-racing....DE%3D <---right click save as - I had this video saved on my computer...all recognition for this needs to go to hondata (derek's k20a eg @ california speedway

AT THE LEAST

many have spent in excess of $5000 in accessories...it all depends on how far you want to take it & how much money you are willing to spend

you can even mount the shifter ep3 style (not my car)

once again I want to point your attention to this vid for those who have not seen it & question the power of a K-powered swap (k20a with i/h/e & kpro)

U guys act like Ks are un touchable. bring ur stock K motor against me and i will still give u a car head up. I know a stock b18c1 wouldnt touch a k20r but I'm not stock. Yes im in Riverside and go to UCR as well. I just wrecked my car last Sunday at the races though so I wont be driving it for a minute.

I was wondering if anyone tried that yet. I'm contemplating about doing that as well. Ep3 shifter owns.

Whoa. First time I've seen someone try an EP3 style shifter in another Honda. Looks pretty good.

Thats what makes the K so nice. They have so much Power in stock form. The K type r , is way faster than the B type R, and the Type S is faster than a GSR. You have to do work on a b to get it to where a stock K is. Now when the K does the same things. He keeps staying one step ahead of the game.

In a nutshell: where the built n/a B series is maxed out the stock K series is just beginning

200 ft/lb of TQ ?????

first off the type S has almost the same HP as an b18cR. second, the tq is only slightly higher than a GSR. so wtf are you talking about 200 ftlbs?

very very stout? so i need a bad *** b series to beat 210 HP and 143 tq AT THE CRANK?

wtf????
